Shop Talks: Free One-on-one Hangouts
We believe that media and stories are powerful tools for social change. To support the movement for racial justice, we are hosting Shop Talks for Black podcasters, audio makers, journalists, and storytellers until the end of August. Sign up below for a free 30-minute, one-on-one session with someone working in the podcasting industry!
We have offered Shop Talks for years under a different name (Office Hours.) The purpose of these sessions is to give independent producers the resources and support they need to take the next step in their audio project. We know making audio and podcasts can be a lonely road. We are here to help you move forward in some small way, even if that’s simply having someone to listen and support you. At the end of our 30 minutes, we’ll follow up to share next steps and resources so you can continue on your audio journey.
This is a free but limited program, so we ask that you only sign up for one session at this time to allow others to participate. We will be rotating the people offering Shop Talks every two weeks, so check back often! If you are interested in hearing more about new offerings and our long-term plans around equity and inclusion, please sign up for our newsletter.
