In 2019, SMASH Boston is re-committing to its mission to dismantle the stodgy heteropatriarchal media landscape in Boston and beyond by consistently upholding and supporting our fellow sisters, femmes and gnc media makers. So — beginning this month — we will be hosting a standing monthly SMASH Salon at the PRX Podcast Garage.

Drop by to mingle, brainstorm project ideas with the group, play clips of what you're working on and receive feedback, skill share, vent about whatever is frustrating you professionally or creatively and generally bask in a cozy, supportive environment!

The monthly SMASH Salons will be low key and welcome to all. Bring your friends! Here's to another year ahead of community, growth and radical intersectional feminism in media and in our hearts.

Whether we’re in the studio, out in the field, or behind a computer, we are constantly under the pressure to be the best and brightest at our craft, so we can serve as representatives for our fellow womxn makers.
