New Language: A Collaboration Between Paint and Music

Local painter Linda Clave joins the experimental musicians of the New Language Collaborative in a live performance between sound and paint. Linda’s collection, Sound in Paint, Energy in Art is gracing the Garage walls for the summer. Come join us in celebrating local art in all its forms, and experience a unique collaboration between the visual and musical.

The performance will be from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Afterwards, meet and mingle with the artists over light refreshments.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Linda Clave has been an artist from her first drawing of feathers on a chalkboard at two.  Her passion was accelerated with the skills that she developed during her BFA and MFA at BU CFA.  But what can be called the chi or the innate spiritual essence in ancient artifacts gave her the inspiration that set her on her path ever since in her life and in her art. Her current series of paintings, Sound in Paint, celebrates the union of the two mighty forces of awakening sound and color. She is currently living in Brighton, MA.
