Intimate Interviews that Make the Mic Disappear with Heidi Shin

This workshop is sold out. Please sign up for our newsletter to hear when future workshops are announced. View a schedule of current workshops on our event calendar.

Showing up with a microphone can make a lot of people nervous - even the best of talkers. Have you ever felt like you walked away from an interview and didn’t get to the heart of the story? That you didn’t get past what was rehearsed in a mirror, before you got there?

In this 2-hour workshop, you'll learn some practical tips for getting intimate and compelling tape. The kind of answers that make people pause and think. That give nuance to a topic you might have already heard a lot about. And help bring a story to life, beyond a talking head. We’ll explore techniques in a hands-on way and learn how to make interviewing less intimidating – both to you and the person you’re talking to.

We highly recommend this workshop for audio beginners.

PRICING

The cost of this two-hour workshop is $50 for non-members and $40 for members of the Podcast Garage or members of the Harvard Ed Portal (i.e. any Allston-Brighton resident). Sign up below!
